Masahiko and Shiori, a mandarin duck couple. One day, the two meet Masahiko's former boss, Yajima, by chance on the roadside. After leaving the company, Yajima, who failed in business, has no remnants of those days and looks tired. On the other hand, Yajima develops an irresistible affection for his wife, Shiori.
